Journey to the astral. Astral travel for beginners

Astral projection - this is an exit from the physical body in the astral (energy) body to the astral world (astral plane).

The astral body is the etheric counterpart of the physical bodyhaving a finer organization and the ability to exist in a different dimension, he does not feel pain and is not subject to physical ailments. In its normal state, the astral double is one with the physical body. Disconnection occurs due to a strong specific change in the state of the bioenergetic organism.

We all unconsciously leave our physical body during our natural sleep process. The astral body hangs over the physical at a height of about 25-30 centimeters, repeating the position of the sleeping person.

If you try to become aware of yourself during sleep, you can try to control it by experiencing lucid dreams. However, you cannot return to the physical world and act in it in the astral body.

In astral projection, having separated from the physical body, without falling asleep, you can remain in the physical world, but you will see this world in a completely different way.

The connecting link between the astral body and the physical is the so-called " silver cord"It is described as a ray of light starting in the forehead of the physical body and ending in the navel of the astral body. The silver cord is elastic and can stretch almost indefinitely. After death, the silver cord breaks and the astral body leaves the physical shell.

Before going on an astral flight, several conditions must be met. To begin with, clearly formulate a goal: where do you want to go or who to see. Aimless wanderings in the astral plane weaken concentration, and a person falls asleep, and when there is a goal, the concentration of consciousness is kept at the required level, due to which all actions are realized.

You also need to learn how to turn off internal dialogue. In this case, the stopping of thoughts occurs not by the effort of the mind, but by the shift of the focus of consciousness from thinking to internal sensations. To exit, you need to remove the fixation from the physical body and feel your astral body.

There are many methods for entering the astral plane using trance... After relaxation, it is necessary to ensure that the body falls asleep, while the consciousness remains vigorous and concentrated. If you manage to maintain this state for a while, you will feel how " slip out" or something " pushes out"you from the body into space. At this moment you will find yourself in a certain place or in emptiness - this will be an astral projection. After that you will begin your journey in the astral world.

Out of body experience goes back millennia! People who since ancient times have mastered the practice of leaving the physical body to explore the subtle worlds and receive knowledge and strength from there are shamans. Shamanic journey begins with rhythmic beats of a drum or tambourine. Some modern methods of entering the astral plane use shamanic techniques for entering a trance.

The ability to astral travel will make you look at the world in a completely different way - new horizons of the universe will open before you. The astral plane provides opportunities that are not available to you in the ordinary world: flying, passing through walls, developing and using the paranormal abilities of the psyche, and much more.

Movement in the astral plane is provided by the power of thought, not muscles. With an effort of will, you can force yourself to float above the surface, moving short distances at the speed of a step or run. However, flight is more interesting for movement. Once you learn to fly, you can go anywhere. For example, visit different countries or go to the Moon, Mars, Venus, to any place in the Universe, or you can travel in time - to the past or the future. Almost everything is permitted on astral travel.

Your movements can also be independent of you. Among experienced astral travelers, there is a concept " wind of the future"- a magnetic force, or maybe even a certain creature that snatches you out of the journey and pulls you to another place and time, where you observe a scene from the future or a vision that symbolizes some hidden meaning.

It helps to return to your own body from a long journey and not get lost in astral space and time. " silver cord", always maintaining the connection between the astral and physical bodies.

Experienced travelers warn that the selfish and low goals of astral exits entail grave consequences and attract infernal beings, which the astral world abounds in.

There are many non-manifest physically beings of different energy levels in the astral plane. By the quality of energy, the upper and lower astral are distinguished.

People with heavy energy of the astral body, prone to aggression, dissatisfied, angry or simply disrespectful of the world around them, enter the lower astral. This is a kind of Hell, where energy vampires and all kinds of evil spirits live. Those returning from the lower astral tell nightmares about the bullying, fights, intimidation they saw, often after such a trip they feel tired and exhausted.

Spiritually developed people, whose astral body contains high-frequency energies, get into the upper astral, a semblance of Paradise - a magnificent world, with beautiful forms, friendly beings, from which they return in a state of joy, pleasure.

In the upper astral, you need to look for Spiritual Teachers, they help in development, give new information, show events of the past and future. Having mastered the upper astral plane, you can choose a Mentor for yourself who will give you knowledge and experience, mainly concerning energy parameters, properties, energy accumulation, interaction with space, elements, forces of nature, with egregors.

Just as exciting as flying is your ability to work wonders - any opportunity you can imagine is easy to realize! Clairvoyance, mind reading, moving objects with the power of the mind and viewing your past and future lives - all these abilities will open to you outside the physical world. But what is most surprising is that over time, the unusual abilities that you possess on the astral plane begin to penetrate into ordinary life!

Also in the astral world there are many energy opportunities for the development of chakras, energy renewal.

Astral travel is a bridge between the ordinary world and the world of subtle matters. Exit to the astral plane reveals to a person the secrets of the world order and immortality of the soul, makes it possible to develop superpowers on the way to personal harmonization!

Introduction

Since time immemorial, people have experienced an inexplicable craving for astral travel. How did a person manage to leave his physical shell and rush to unknown distances, going beyond the boundaries of time and space? Was this ability inherent only to a select few or did each person have such an opportunity from birth? It is quite obvious that it was beneficial for shamans to keep people in the dark about such brilliant and unique opportunities: to be aware of future events, and even to influence them. That is why the astral exit technique was shrouded in mystery.

Nevertheless, there are many examples of how some people acquired the gift of astral exit spontaneously. In most cases, the astral experience was pleasant. However, some stories terrified people, forming a misconception about this phenomenon.

Fortunately, my first astral experience, at the age of fifteen, although spontaneous, intrigued rather than frightened me. One day after school, before leaving home, I went to the school library. I knew I might miss the train, but I couldn't give up looking for the books I needed to complete my homework. Unexpectedly for myself, I found myself at the railway station, among other students. The sensation was quite natural, except for the distinct awareness of leaving the physical body. The usual excitement and carefree fuss reigned on the platform, and I wanted to check if my classmates could see me. I tried to slap my friend on the back and saw my hand go through his body. However, no one reacted, and I realized that my presence had gone unnoticed by others. Then I called my friend, but did not receive an answer. Suddenly I remembered that I had left my portfolio at school, and in the blink of an eye I was back in the library. Trying to catch the train, I frantically began to stuff the books into my portfolio, but the time was hopelessly lost.

The next train arrived only forty-five minutes later, and I had a lot of time to comprehend what happened to me. This is not to say that what happened was something out of the ordinary for me, since I have already read several books by Sylvan Muldoon on astral travel, although I have not experienced it myself. My first astral experience awakened in me the desire to learn to leave the body at will.

Now, remembering those distant Days, I understand that the circumstances were most favorable for what happened. On the one hand, I was desperate to find the book I needed, and on the other, I was afraid of being late for the train. Both circumstances created a kind of stressful situation, and since I was already familiar with the theory, the third favorable factor - desire - was present. So, for a spontaneous exit into the astral plane, a state of stress is needed, supported by a desire to experience such an experience.

Some people believe that leaving the physical body carries a serious risk. In fact, astral travel is much safer than driving a car. In this book, I provide recommendations that virtually eliminate all adverse effects. For many years I have been teaching people and being their guide to another dimension, and they all claim that astral travel enriches life, filling it with new colors and pleasant experiences.

What is astral travel? In practice, this type of travel means leaving the physical body, visiting any place of one's choice and returning to the body.

Humans have had astral experiences in prehistoric times. Descriptions of astral travel were left by the ancient civilizations of Egypt, India, China and Tibet. In the Tibetan tradition, people capable of astral exit were called "Delogi", which meant "those who returned from the beyond."

The ancient Egyptians believed in Ka (astral double) and Ba (soul or spirit) and believed that these entities could leave the body at any time. In the preface to The Egyptian Book of the Dead, Wallis Budge writes that the Egyptians endowed Ka with traits characteristic of the person to whom this entity belonged. At the same time, it was believed that such an entity has a kind of independence and intrinsic value.

Plato was convinced that the earthly life of man is only a pitiful likeness of what is available to the spirit, freed from the body. Aristotle believed that the spirit is capable of leaving the physical shell and meeting its own kind in another world. The ancient Greeks also believed that in addition to the physical body, a person has a second, subtle body.

In the Holy Scriptures we find a mention of the astral journey: after the baptism, “Philip was caught by the Angel of the Lord” and “Philip was in Azot” [Acts. 8:39, 40].

In the Second Epistle to the Corinthians, the holy Apostle Paul writes: "I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago ... was caught up to the third heaven ... he was caught up to heaven and heard unspeakable words that a person cannot retell."

The ancient Celts had a legend that told how the druid Mog Ruit turned into a bird and flew over the positions of an enemy army, looking for vulnerabilities in the enemy's defenses. This is direct evidence of astral travel.

In 1808, the German merchant Herr Vasermann discovered his ability to fly astral - he "appeared" in the dreams of his friends. Vasermann conducted a series of experiments, in four of which friends confirmed his "visits", and their dreams unfolded in accordance with the experimenter's scenario. The fifth experiment was particularly impressive. According to the proposed scenario, Lieutenant N was supposed to see in a dream a woman who died five years ago. At the appointed time (23:00) the lieutenant was still awake, discussing with his friend the details of the military campaign against the French. Suddenly the door opened and a simple-haired woman in black and white attire entered. Nodding three times to the lieutenant's friend and once to the owner himself, she smiled and left. A few seconds later, the startled men rushed after her. However, she was gone, and the guard at the door swore that he had not noticed anyone.

The first scientist to apply scientific methods to the study of astral experience was the Frenchman Hector Durville. The object of his experiments was a man who went into the astral plane of his own free will and at any time. In the course of experiments, this subject drummed from a distance on a table at the far end of the room, illuminated photographic plates and caused a glow on screens coated with calcium sulfate.

Madame Blavatsky, or EPB [Abbr. from "Helena Petrovna Blavatsky"], as her associates called her, in 1875 founded the Theosophical Society in New York. For forty years, this woman traveled throughout Asia, comprehending the wisdom of the East. The members of the Theosophical Society believed that the true essence of man is not limited to his physical shell and consists of at least seven bodies. The Society itself has made an invaluable contribution to the popularization of Eastern traditions and, in particular, astral travel.

In the XX century, interest in the astral plane has grown unheard of. While Europe was ravaged by the battles of World War I, the two enthusiasts, as if nothing had happened, boldly experimented in the field of astral projection. One of them, the engineer and theosophist Hugh Callaway, wrote the book Astral Projection, which is still very popular today. This study, published by Hugh Callaway before the outbreak of World War II under the pseudonym Oliver Fox, compiles lengthy articles previously published in the 1920 issue of Occult Review. Hugh's associate, the French mystic Marcel Louis Foran, lived on the other side of the English Channel and under the pseudonym Iram published the book "Le Medecin de l" Ame ", better known as" Practical Astral Projection. "

The American explorer Sylvan Muldoon, co-authored with Gervard Carrington, wrote the book Projection of the Astral Body in 1929. Unlike Oliver Fox and Iram, who considered the ability to astral exit the prerogative of especially gifted people, this author believed that astral travel is available to everyone. As a confirmation, he cited numerous examples that people can spontaneously go on an astral flight.

Muldoon's work was continued by retired geologist Dr. Robert Crookell, who collected and analyzed more than 750 astral excursions over ten years. His first work, The Study and Practice of Astral Projection, was published in 1960.

By carefully analyzing each episode, Dr. Crookell tried to identify the main factors that could explain the essence of this extraordinary phenomenon. As a result of research, the scientist came to the conclusion that all cases have six main characteristics.

  1. In all cases, people feel that they are leaving the physical body in the head area.
  2. At the moment the astral body leaves the physical shell, a person's consciousness is "turned off".
  3. Before embarking on a journey, the astral bodies of people "hover" over their physical shells for some time.
  4. Before returning, the astral double also "hovers" over the physical body for some time.
  5. Before the final return, there is an instant "blackout" of consciousness again.
  6. In the case of an accelerated return of the astral body, the physical bodies of people experience involuntary shudders.

Before Dr. Crookell's research was published, few people thought about a scientific explanation of the phenomena of the astral plane. However, not so much time passed before scientists became seriously interested in the problem and found that the circle of persons who had astral experience was much wider than previously thought.

It was during these years that Tsilia Green, an employee of the Institute of Parapsychological Research, was collecting data on cases of out-of-body experience. The information obtained can be considered the most complete. In addition to the usual methods of research and questioning, the search for the necessary information was carried out through newspaper ads.

Despite the fact that the statistical data of representatives of different countries had some differences, there was basically a single tendency: about twenty percent of the inhabitants of the Earth had an astral experience at least once in their life. As it turned out, compared to other people, university students were more susceptible to astral output. Celia Greene found that thirty-four percent of her 1968 Oxford graduates had gone astral at least once. In 1975, an even more serious study was conducted, the participants of which concluded that, compared with fourteen percent of other groups of the population who had an astral experience, students held the palm (25%). Even more impressive was the data obtained by the American magazine, which addressed its readers: 700 out of 1,500 respondents (46%) declared their ability to go to the astral plane.

In 1980, at the annual convention of the American Psychiatric Association, Dr. Stuart Thuemlow, representative of the Topek Veterans Affairs Medical Center, presented the results of his own research. According to his data, eighty-five percent of those surveyed liked the astral experience, and more than half of them said that they experienced "joy." In the report, Dr. Thuemlow sounded literally the following: "At least forty-three percent of respondents insisted that what happened to them is the most vivid memory in their lives." Not surprisingly, most of them were eager to repeat their experience. Singer Keith Bush compared the astral exit to a "kite" hovering in the sky and connected to the physical shell only by a thin thread. My students unanimously found this comparison to be very apt and accurate.

Many parapsychologists these days demonstrate the ability to remotely see (one aspect of the so-called psychometrics), which is a form of astral travel. During such experiments, the subject is asked to describe something that is happening thousands of kilometers from the location of the experiment.

The growing interest of the scientific world in such a phenomenon as astral travel is encouraging. For example, Dr. Eugene E. Bernard, professor at State University in North Carolina, said: “It seems unlikely that so many mentally healthy people experience hallucinations. The brain and its capabilities are still a sealed mystery for scientists. It is difficult to say when this will happen, but I firmly believe that sooner or later the theory of astral projection will receive scientific justification and confirmation. "

There are many other evidences of astral experience. A well-known example, called "Case number fourteen", is given in Edmond Gurney's fascinating book "Living Ghosts", which has 702 psychic experiments. Monsieur Verde recounts how, in November 1881, he astrally visited his bride's bedroom. He writes: “Reading about the powerful possibilities of human will on a Sunday evening in November 1881, I believed that I could mentally transfer my soul to the second floor of No. 22 Hogard Road in Kensington, and I actually ended up in one of the bedrooms.” This room was occupied by his fiancée, Miss Verighi, and her eleven-year-old sister.

Byrd's home was located three miles from the home of the bride, who knew nothing of his plans. The next morning, an agitated Miss Verity told her groom about the shock she had experienced when she saw his ghost at her head. The younger sister, awakened by her cry, also saw a ghost.

The culprit of the commotion was very pleased with his experience, which he repeated twice more. Byrd tried to explain how he managed to leave the physical shell; “Apart from purely volitional aspiration, I made some effort that cannot be described in words. I was aware of certain mystical vibes in my body and was fully aware of the fact that forces were involved that were beyond my understanding. Nevertheless, at certain times they obeyed my will. " Emmanuel Swedenborg (1689-1772) tells of another documented case. On July 17, 1759, he attended a party in Gothenburg. At this time, an unprecedented fire broke out in Stockholm, located three hundred miles from the scene of action. At six o'clock in the afternoon Swedenborg suddenly turned pale and announced to the guests that the fire had begun. Going out into the garden, he began to talk about the details and the spread of the metropolitan conflagration. The guests learned that his friend's house was burned down and that his own mansion was in danger. Two hours later Swedenborg returned to the house and exclaimed: "Glory to the Almighty, the fire is extinguished three blocks from my residence!" The next day, the clairvoyant confirmed his words with the governor, since many Gothenburg people had friends and relatives in Stockholm and were worried about the alarming message. There were also those who owned real estate in the capital. Only two days later, the fire victims arrived in Gothenburg and in the smallest detail confirmed what Swedenborg had said. The hero of the day could go to the astral plane of his own free will and, moreover, repeatedly visited the angelic worlds. His mystical revelations are described in numerous diaries.

In 1918, nineteen-year-old Ernest Hemingway fought in the Italian army. Delivering cocoa to the positions, he received severe shrapnel wounds to his legs, which served as a reason or a kind of impetus for a spontaneous astral exit. He recalls: "I felt the soul, or something else, leave my body, like a silk handkerchief, which is pulled out of the pocket by the tip." The writer reflected his experience in the novel A Farewell to Arms, endowing it with the main character of the book, Frederick Henry.

One of the most famous astral travelers is Edgar Cayce. In a state of trance, he diagnosed patients who were thousands of kilometers from the site of the experiment. Staying in a trance, Casey abstracted himself from the traditional senses, brought himself into a borderline state, in which his "subtle body" interacted with the patient's subconscious, revealing this or that pathology.

It should be noted that Edgar Cayce categorically forbade those present to move objects in front of his body while he was in the astral plane, fearing for the state of an invisible thread or cord through which his physical body was connected to the subtle body. This thread is commonly referred to as the "silver cord".

The ability to travel in the astral plane can hardly be overestimated. So, you can find out what people really think about you, get answers to many previously unsolvable questions, visit your friends and loved ones at any time. Without leaving (physically) your home, you will travel through time and space at will and forget what boredom is.

One of the most important aspects of the astral exit is something that worries many people - the question of the finiteness of earthly existence. The realization that death does not put the final point on your path will help you get rid of the fears associated with the frailty of earthly life. Scientific studies have confirmed that at the time of physical death, the human body loses about 60 to 90 grams of its mass, and a kind of haze appears in the head area. It is possible that these very signs indicate that a person is going on his last lifetime astral journey.

Almost everyone who has experienced an astral experience (including involuntary) strives to repeat it again and again.

Fortunately, anyone can master the astral exit technique; in many ways it resembles the technique of driving a car. Some people learn the skills of "astral driving" playfully; others require more serious and lengthy preparation. However, in both the first and second cases, a serious attitude to the subject of study brings the expected results. In exceptional cases, a person has to spend several years on training. This happens due to internal complexes, "tightness", as well as in the case of training under incompetent guidance. Nevertheless, I hasten to assure you that absolutely hopeless students simply do not exist.

My personal teaching experience convinces me that everyone can learn the astral exit. Working with students, I could never determine with certainty which of them has the greatest abilities, but at one time each of them went on an astral flight.

My book contains a variety of techniques for entering the astral plane. This was not done by chance - despite all my efforts, I failed to develop a unified, universal technique. As a rule, a person can learn to "leave" the physical body in several ways, and at least one of them will work for you.

Before moving on to specific exercises, I would advise you to read the entire book and only after a second, more careful reading begin to master the proposed techniques. Some of the exercises may seem too easy and ineffective. However, you should not jump from one chapter to another (this is especially true for the ninth chapter), since the methods given in the book have proven their practical effectiveness in this sequence. So, be consistent, don't be afraid to waste ten extra minutes, and the results won't keep you waiting.

People are often interested in the opportunity to experience an out-of-body experience. However, few people ask the question - "why do I need this at all?" Let's consider the main reasons for learning to go out into the subtle world and ...

Difference between astral travel and sleep

There is only one way to get into the astral world - through sleep. In reality, sleep and going to the astral plane are very similar, however, astral travel is a fully conscious dream, when the physical body is separated from the mental, spiritual shell, but the mind does not sleep at the same time, as during ordinary sleep. The separation of the physical body from the spiritual occurs for every person every day, for this you just need to sleep. Scientists have proven that falling asleep, the mental body is separated and located exactly in the same position as the physical body, but about half a meter above the person.

Therefore, the main difference between ordinary sleep and immersion in the astral plane is manifested in the control of all actions of the spiritual body by the mind, during ordinary sleep the brain rests and the maximum that can happen surprising is dreams dictated to us most often by the subconscious.

How to enter the astral plane for a beginner. What you need to know

Anyone who is little familiar with astral travel should not rush to move on to practice, first of all, it is worth paying attention to many nuances of entering the astral plane in order to protect yourself, as a beginner in this practice, from dangerous consequences. Knowledge of such basic principles of astro travel will help to enter the astral plane, such as:

  • Sleep control. It consists in starting to distinguish and highlight exactly the moment when you fall asleep.
  • Development of visualization skills. It is necessary at least for a week to train the idea of \u200b\u200bhow the immersion into the astral plane has already occurred.
  • Self-confidence. It is extremely important to be mentally prepared to enter the astral plane.
  • Calmness. Often, beginners have a fear of not returning from the astral plane, so you should remain calm and understand that at any time, as soon as you want to return, you can do it.

A beginner should remember that rarely does anyone manage to plunge into another world for the first few times. Therefore, do not be upset if nothing happened and you, for example, just fell asleep. It is important not to stop practicing, but to slowly move towards your goal - an exciting astro travel.

What are the techniques for entering the astral plane?

Absolutely all astral access techniques are created in order to properly target the brain for the upcoming journey. The fact is that when a practitioner performs these simple techniques, he automatically disconnects from the outside world and turns off the inner monologue. Also, these techniques allow you to "swing" the body and start the vibrations necessary for astral practice.

Incidentally, astro travel masters rarely use advanced techniques because their body has already worked out the technique of entering the astral plane to automatism, but for beginners in this business it is recommended to start with the techniques.

Methods, techniques for diving into the astral plane

There are many ways to enter the astral plane, for this reason, a beginner in the practice of astral travel should, having tried several techniques for immersion, choose the most convenient one for himself and practice it daily, this is how the ability to enter the astral plane develops.

A fairly well-known method of immersion in the astral plane is the so-called vortex method. The essence of this method is in adhering to a special vegetarian diet, as well as in refusing to use coffee, alcohol, cigarettes for at least two weeks.

Next, you should take a sitting position (make sure that your back is straight and the energy passes freely), without crossing your arms and legs. Also a well-known practitioner of astral travel, Minnie Keeler, recommends having a glass of clean water nearby, which, according to her, will protect you during practice from evil spirits living in the astral plane.

After completing several breaths, you should imagine that you are in the center of a large cone. With the help of consciousness, one should rise to the top of the cone, then imagine oneself inside the vortex movement, while identifying with the top of the cone. This visualization should be repeated until the shell of the cone bursts and you are outside with the vortex.

It should be noted that the vortex method is best suited for those who have a well-developed visualization practice, since it helps to transfer attention from body to mind with its help. Also, this method has other options:

  • You are in a barrel, which is gradually filled with water, when water fills the barrel, you should find a hole in it on the side and go through it to the astral plane.
  • You are sitting on a carpet through which steam passes, imagine that you are this very steam and rise up, leaving the body.

Technique for a beginner

One of the simplest ways for beginners is to memorize about 10 basic objects in one of the rooms of their apartment, the smell of the room, lighting and the general environment. Then, leaving the room, you must close your eyes and imagine yourself again in this room. If all the information about the room was collected correctly, then it will be possible to present it without much difficulty. In the future, traveling along familiar routes mentally, one can develop more and more the ability of the astral exit.

The hypnotic way

With the help of hypnosis, you can go to the astral plane for those for whom the visualization method is of great difficulty, or other methods of visiting the astral plane. Such immunity arises in cases where a person's consciousness is closed or inhibited. The hypnotic method allows, bypassing the impact on the consciousness and mind of a person, to work with his subconscious.

There are two options in this technique:

  • the practitioner entering the astral plane goes into a trance by himself, using the technique of self-hypnosis;
  • a specialist has a hypnotic effect on the subconscious.

It is worth noting that several techniques of self-hypnosis have been identified, many of them are described in some detail in special literature and do not pose a serious danger to the practitioner.

Swing method

Such a way of traveling to the astral plane, like the Swing, is an imaginary swing. It has no restrictions on its use and, accordingly, everyone can use it. The essence of this method lies in the fact that having taken a comfortable position and closing your eyes, you need to imagine how warmth spreads through the body and how the sun's rays "caress" the body. Next, you need to imagine that you are riding on a swing, which gradually accelerates and lifts you into the sky itself, you should not be afraid, but you need to fly away from the swing. In the first sessions, it is recommended to land close to your body, as you progress in this technique, you can go on a "journey" to any place, but you should always start moving from the body.

Swing method

Through astral contact

One of the safe techniques is considered to be entering another reality with the help of astral contact or otherwise - a mentor. But you should be pretty serious about choosing a practice partner, because the main burden lies with him, not with you. It is the teacher who will help you plunge into the astral plane and, if necessary, will help you return, fully controlling your stay outside the body. In addition, among astro-travelers, there are stories about how dishonest mentors, at the time of the journey of the mental body, inserted another soul into the physical body, leaving the practitioner behind the threshold of the real world.

Method from Alice Bailey

Alice Bailey's method is to move consciousness to the head before going to bed, and in no case should you lose control of consciousness, as during normal falling asleep. One must strive to ensure that the consciousness remains active - this is very important for entering the astral plane. Thanks to the development of the ability to relax and gradually shift consciousness from the whole body to the head, one can learn to control oneself when entering the astral world. But, unfortunately, this method cannot be called fast-acting; it will take a lot of time to master astral travel with it.

Method from Keith Harari

Keith Harari's technique is not the easiest method to prepare for going to the astral plane. According to this method, your task is to choose the room in the apartment that you love the most. After the choice has been made, it is also necessary to find a place that is pleasant for you outside the apartment or house - on the street. You should spend at this place from 10-15 minutes, standing there with your eyes closed and absorbing the atmosphere of this place. Then, while still outside, you need to take a deep breath, imagine that you are on a comfortable couch or chair for you. As you feel this, you should slowly open your eyes and imagine that everything you see around you is a consequence of your experience outside the bodily journey. Through inhalation, you should take a good look at the surrounding place and gradually begin to move into the room in the house that you have chosen for practice. Since, in your opinion, you are now getting your first out-of-body experience, it is better to avoid communicating with people, so as not to disrupt the chain of work with consciousness, which is important for this method. Then, after you spend 10-15 minutes in the apartment, you should return to the street, close your eyes and, taking a deep breath, imagine that you are currently indoors, on your sofa or armchair. After that, the eyes must be opened and returned to the apartment. Once you are in a comfortable position, relax and remember the fresh air you were just in. Try to remember how you felt on the street, how you felt pretending to be sitting on the couch. Then, through the inhalation, you should imagine that you were again in the room and try to imagine how you felt when you stood on the street and imagined that your physical body was already at home.

Despite the fact that this technique at first glance may seem confusing, it is worth understanding it, because the technique that forms its basis is best able to prepare for going to the astral plane.

"Matema Shinto" - pairing

The technique of "Coming in a pair" is based on the fact that two people who practice lucid dreaming and do not feel each other verbally, use the exit to astral projections to transmit any important information. To do this, it is necessary, being already outside the body, to meet in one agreed place, and, having made exactly 60 steps, knock on the door that appeared nearby. When it is opened, you should transfer the information and go back exactly 60 steps. For such a session, of course, training is required, but in the case when going into the astral plane in a pair occurs, there is a good opportunity to have support from a close friend, practicing out-of-body practices.

Meditation for ejection of the astral body from the shell

One of the main tools for preparing for going to the astral plane is meditation. Moreover, according to practicing astro flyers, to practice it, it is better to take a sitting position and "start" relaxation of the whole body in it, relying on the following algorithm of actions:

  • we relax the arms and legs;
  • we transfer relaxation to the muscles of the body;
  • the face relaxes;
  • the body becomes soft like plasticine, and the work of consciousness is suspended (for better work, you can concentrate on breathing).

There is also a version that the well-known to many "Shavasana" - one of the relaxing yoga asanas, is a good step for entering the astral plane. The main difference between such meditation is that the body is ejected from a lying position, and not sitting, as mentioned above.

What can you see when entering the astral

For people not involved in astral flights, there is a standard description of such a place as the astral plane, and they often compare it with the stories of people who have experienced clinical death. Indeed, practitioners entering the astral plane first of all see a certain corridor or deep tunnel, rotating and glowing.

In general, a journey to the astral world is a journey to exactly the same place as reality. This means that one should not expect a meeting with the heroes of science fiction films or any fictional creatures in the astral plane. Here there is a high probability of meeting only those who have long gone into another world, or those with whom you have not met for a very long time, but these people are significant to you - the fact is that in the astral space there is no concept of time to which we used to.

What can you feel when entering the astral plane

Being in the astral plane, you can track how your presence here is from existence in reality. According to the testimony of practicing astral pilots, the astral world provides additional, endless possibilities to the body, such as passing through walls, the ability to fly, understand the language of animals and plants, and much more. In general, the presence of such possibilities is explained by the fact that any action in astral projection is carried out with the help of thoughts, and the abilities of our mind, as you know, are limitless.

As for the sensations of oneself, a person, being in the astral plane, recognizes his mental body as a ball or some kind of transparent figure, as he develops in the practice of going into the astral plane, a person can begin to see himself in an ordinary image.

When you enter the astral world for the first time, you can feel calm and relaxation throughout your body, lightness and the feeling that you are floating in the air. By the way, the first exit from the body should not exceed the limit of 5 minutes, it is also not recommended to move far from the body.

Terrible dangers lie in wait in the astral

While practicing exits to the astral plane, especially if you do not follow the rules and “walk” quite far from the body, you can run into some troubles, which then have consequences in reality. The astral world originally belongs to spirits and ghosts, and each of them has its own intentions, not always good ones. Thus, going into the astral plane without protection, there is always a risk:

  • not returning to the ordinary world, stuck in the astral;
  • to attract negative entities from the astral world, as a result of which there is a possibility of acquiring a mental illness, popularly called "obsession".

In order not to get into such situations, it is recommended to carefully study the literature on this topic and follow the rules that do not allow "traveling" outside the home, and if you do long sessions, then insure yourself using the technique of entering the astral plane in pairs.

Rules that will save in the astral plane from death

Before starting the practice of astral travel, you should ask yourself the question "Why do I need this?" Having studied enough information on this topic, and without losing the desire to practice lucid dreaming, you should devote quite a lot of attention to protecting yourself during the sessions. Of course, the best protection is prayer and a pectoral cross, which create a kind of shield at the mental level. If you do not belong to the Christian faith, then you can use any other symbols of faith, the main thing is the light energy that arises around you from such means of protection.
