An explicit replica, and not a very bad RAV4 and CR-V. The first is still in question. The mileage is small, it’s too early to talk about reliability, but I would say the build quality is satisfactory. Yes, the gaps are not uniform everywhere, and the seams are visible in some places, but in general, the assembly of the machine makes a good impression. I am a little familiar with the products of our industry, and so the Chinese are better assembled. I myself grew up on Japanese right-handers. I had different cars of Mark, Corolla, Karina, Cefira and I don’t remember everything. There was a time when it was possible to have inexpensive, well-equipped cars quite cheaply and change them every two or three years without damaging the family budget. And they were reliable. Gone are the days and I went in 2010 to the showrooms of official dealers. I chose for a long time, I will not focus on the process, but I was able to buy a Chevrolet Aveo hatch 1.2l. in the simplest configuration on fur. And this despite the fact that climbed into a loan. The car is ambiguous, after a three-liter Cefira or Mark with a charger, as in that joke (elk, just elk) a car, just a car. I went for almost three years, I was happy as much as possible, and I myself looked at crossovers. The possibilities of the budget for three years have not changed much. Taking into account the loan, I could afford 550-570 tr. I don't want secondhand. Option at first there were two Chevy Niva and Duster. I never took the Chinese seriously. I rode on the Niva, crossed myself and forgot forever. In Niva, one advantage is cross-country ability. For an urban crossover, this is not the most necessary advantage. Duster tested the two-liter on the machine. On the go, the car really liked. For all the wretchedness of the external and internal alternatives for the price there. However, it was not easy to buy this miracle of Romanian-French-Japanese-Russian production at the declared advertising price. Queue for a year, an advance payment of one hundred mowers and a vague contract, or a car with imposed dopami and the price tag is already under seven hundred. And for that kind of money, I don't need it. And that's when I turned my eyes to the machines from the heavens. I read reviews, passed test drives of Chery, Hover, Lifan crossovers. Exhibition cars thoroughly studied. And I decided to take the Tiger Cub. The price tag is sane, the equipment for this money is excellent. And the appearance is nostalgia, almost the second generation RAV4. This is the background to the purchase of Tiggo.

Exterior design, as you already understood, I personally am completely satisfied. The car looks great. Something, but the Chinese know how to copy. With the organization of the internal space, too, everything is fine. Salon spacious high, I have a height of 188cm. overhead shaft places. True, there is not much room for legs in the back seat. The padding of the rear sofa itself is quite hard, and the landing is too vertical. Long trips in the rear seats will not bring pleasure to passengers. The backs of the back row are not adjustable in inclination and the sofa itself does not move longitudinally. I read that the last model had these options. The interior design does not shine with frills, but everything is well thought out, everything that needs to be eaten. And when compared with the price, we can say the perfect ratio. In my opinion, there are two serious ergonomic shortcomings, there is not enough steering wheel adjustment for reach and there is no lumbar support. But the lateral support is not bad, it holds perfectly in corners. The controls are laid out logically and intuitively. The audio system is of good quality, everything reads. True, for some reason, the input for external media is a mini USB. Adjustments made additionally on the steering wheel, very convenient. The sound quality is very decent, I did not even expect from a car of this price category. And the noise is bad. You can also hear the engine after 100 km / h and pebbles on the bottom and wheels through the arches and street noises through the doors. The view from the driver's seat of a good rack practically does not interfere, but the side mirrors are not very informative, large dead zones. The cabin has many different niches for small things. In the doors there are pockets with extensions for bottles, in the trunk on the sides of the niche, a normal glove box, a container in the armrest, on the ceiling there is a holder for glasses. Finishing materials are cheap and plastic and fabric and are consistent with the cost of the car. At least not worse than in the same Duster. The trunk is large, the correct form. True, the shelf in the trunk is uncomfortable and hard, like in a hatch, it can only be removed completely, it would be better if there was a retractable curtain. The rear seats, or rather the backs, fold onto a pillow, the process itself is convenient and simple, but a large step is formed. The rear hinged door opens from left to right. If you load from the sidewalk, you have to bypass it.

Motor 1.6L. 126 Chinese horses. He works in tandem with a five-step. In principle, the engine is enough. Similar tandems, as far as I know, are used on Qashqai, ASX, Duster. Dynamic characteristics are not outstanding, but quite satisfactory. In the city, I don’t feel flawed, and I’m confident on the highway in the stream. The clutch frustrates me a little, it is soft and uninformative and picks up at the very end of the stroke. There are also complaints about the brakes. The brakes are wadded and with sudden braking, the considerable weight of the car is clearly felt. Average consumption can be determined only by checks. The computer gives only instantaneous consumption. According to my estimates in the city, about 11-12 liters, on the highway, if you drive evenly at 90-11 km / h, about 7.5 liters. The most comfortable speed is 100-110km/h. The strong noise does not annoy yet and the behavior on the road is almost perfect. Steering wheel sharp light and at the same time uninformative in the zero zone. And that is not unimportant, small bumps in the road are clearly given to the steering wheel. A bit annoying on long trips. In general, the suspension is quite stiff. Shaking especially the rear passengers is not weak. However, even taking into account the fact that the long-stroke suspension does not give large rolls during active maneuvering. Clearance is quite crossover. The overhangs are small, Tiggo jumps elementarily along the curbs. Good tires will be needed for the winter, otherwise all the geometric crossover inclinations can spoil the monodrive.

I cannot say that I am completely satisfied. There are quite a few shortcomings. The main trump card is the price and rich equipment compared to classmates. Talk about reliability, having a mileage of 4000 km. not correct. In the meantime, judging by the reaction of acquaintances and little-known people, I see one promising problem, it will not be easy to sell.

I remember the eyes of the owners of Niv and UAZ, especially the one that got stuck behind (the secret is that you can’t stop, all the obstacles are at speed, and the second one is rear-wheel drive and there is no lock, only clearance, big wheels and the impudence of the driver). After fishing, I went through a real test. Oil painting "Sailed": an unsuccessful assault on the ford, the water is almost flush with the seat, but the engine is running, they pulled it out only with a tractor, and drove home on their own (lucky that left-hand side with the air intake stood higher, everything was knee-deep there. On the right - almost to the waist). A day of drying the interior (not a problem to disassemble) and knocking sand out of the coating, and no (pah-pah-pah) consequences. Isn't that a plus?

As a result, the paper is not in a container, but at a waste paper collection point, which is more useful for the wallet (I handed over about 100 kg). My transportation record is half a cube of a board (each 2 meters long), while only the right rear seat is removed (and put on another) (oh yes, they also move forward and backward like the front ones). I am silent about the number of bordachkov in the cabin, I certainly have enough.

Briefly and clearly - the equipment is at the level of "comfort" (or even "luxury" for some brands). I won’t list everything - except that the autorun is not enough (although I installed the BC and parking sensors additionally, but besides them, nothing really needed anything from the really necessary ones, well, I also hung a bird on the mirror).

Some Tiggo owners with a 2.4L engine have experienced unpleasant cases of valve breakage and destruction of the connecting rod. The engine is prone to "wasting" coolant through the lower radiator pipe, the junction of the pump with the thermostat tube, or through the tube itself. Sometimes "leak" plugs in the cylinder block.

The 1.8 liter engine is characterized by difficulties with a cold start in severe frosts - below 15 degrees. The culprit is the coolant temperature sensor. Engines of 1.6 l and 2.0 l do not suffer from “nominal” sores. But they are not without common problems characteristic of Cherie Tigo.

Many complain about the unsatisfactory quality of the working fluids used in the power unit. In particular, the coolant on Russian-made cars can precipitate over time, which often leads to the thermostat jamming in the open position.

Due to a malfunction of the fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator, the engine starts to stall and stops starting the first time, and then refuses to start at all when the fuel remaining in the tank is less than half or 1/3. Whatever the trouble does not take by surprise, the especially savvy carry with them "NZ" in the amount of 5 liters. After a small portion of fuel, the engine starts easily. Ignition coils and high-voltage wires can "order to live long" after 30-50 thousand km. Often, drivers notice jerking when accelerating in 2nd gear. Transmission

The clutch often “ends” after 70-90 thousand km, but there are also “lucky ones” who skated 150-160 thousand km before the first replacement. For clutch replacement, dealers ask about 10 thousand rubles, in a third-party service you will have to pay about 7-8 thousand rubles.

With the DP0 automatic transmission, which Tigo got as a gift from Renault, not everything is going smoothly either. So, with a run of more than 30-40 thousand km, a gear with an exclamation mark is displayed on the dashboard. In this case, slight tremors may appear. The reason is pressure modulation valves. The valves will either have to be replaced, or it will be possible to get off by flushing the valve body. The cost of the valve is 2-2.5 thousand rubles, and the replacement work is 4-6 thousand rubles. "Officials" ask for repairs up to 80-90 thousand rubles.

On cars older than 3 years, the box may not switch to the “P” (parking) mode due to the destruction of the fragile tip connecting the cable and the gear selector lever. Over time, corrosion appears on the contacts of the box connector comb.

All-wheel drive versions of Chery Tigo, released before May 2008, pestered with a noticeable vibration in the speed range of 60-100 km / h. The reason is incorrect balancing of the cardan shaft. Other problems and malfunctions

The paintwork of the body is tolerable. The metal at the place of chips soon begins to "bloom". Problem areas- hood, sills, bottom of the rear door. When driving over bumps, door locks often sound. The disease is treated by wrapping the staple with electrical tape.

Crickets in the cabin settle in whole colonies. The front seats also start to creak. It is possible to get rid of the squeak by gluing the fasteners. Over time, the paint on the steering wheel is wiped off.

Head unit also often causes problems. Either it doesn’t play discs, or it doesn’t hold a wave, then it falls silent, meaningfully giving out the inscription “TOO HOT” - overheating. It is noteworthy that the warranty book states that the audio system is not covered by the warranty.

Over time, the stove fan begins to whistle. After lubricating the bushings, the whistle disappears. If the air flows in the cabin are unevenly distributed in winter (the driver is cold and the front passenger is hot), then the clogged heater radiator will have to be replaced.

In wet weather or after washing, many are faced with a complete “silence” of the dashboard. The reason is moisture. After several days of "drying", the panel's performance is restored.

Problems with the generator appear after 50-70 thousand km. A new generator will cost 5-6 thousand rubles.

Many owners compare the acquisition of Chery Tiggo with playing the lottery. You never know how your car will perform. It is also worth noting that the prices for original spare parts are significantly overestimated, and they take care much less than those that were originally installed during assembly.
