And while the unfortunate animal was beating in its death throes, the man decided to take a walk, and after 10-15 minutes, when the dog dies, return it, throw the body into the car and take it away. Business as usual.

Catching of stray cats and dogs is the responsibility of the department of sanitary cleaning at the IPCC. They receive applications from residents of the city and organizations who complain about homeless animals. The MPKH employee receives the drug "Adeline Super" at the city veterinary station, finds a suitable animal according to the description and "immobilizes" him with an aluminum stick with an attached syringe. In many civilized cities of Russia, the use of "Adeline Super" was declared illegal, since as a result of its influence the animal dies an agonizing death from suffocation. But in the first science city of the country it has been used for a long time, they consider its use humane and are not going to abandon it.
"Adeline" is used on fur farms as euthanasia for the supposedly humane killing of animals. The drug causes a slow painful death by gradually paralyzing the peripheral and respiratory muscles. The animal tries to inhale, but it fails, as the muscles atrophy. When fully conscious, the animal experiences panic fear, dies for a long time and is extremely painful. "Adeline Super" refers to drugs of group A - poisons. They or their analogs are actually used to euthanize animals in veterinary clinics... But in veterinarians it is done differently: first, the animal is anesthetized. And only when consciousness is switched off, a drug is injected that slows down the heartbeat, the animal dies without suffering.
But in Obninsk, homeless "our younger brothers" are injected with poison at once, without anesthesia and painkillers! And even worse, the executors of the "death sentence" are sure that it is humane!

Apparently, Lyudmila Petrovna does not use the Internet and, even for the sake of simple curiosity, did not try to look for information about the drug she was dealing with. Although, on the other hand, this may be completely voluntary ignorance, and in this way the compassionate boss wants to convince herself that the animals do not hurt when they are killed.

By the way, in the MPKH we met the "performer" himself - Yuri KUZMIN. He is a new person in this business, but he can already tell how to hit the animal correctly so that it does not run away anywhere, and quickly turns off.
Before Yuri, another comrade who recently had a heart attack had worked in this difficult position for more than twenty years (and as we were assured - with dedication and desire). We were not allowed to photograph the instruction, fearing the anger of Sergei KLIMENKO, director of the MPKH, but in what we read we did not find a single word where it would be allowed to kill an animal on the spot. It also clearly states that “hunting” should be done in the morning, before people go to work.
As for the decision of the City Council, many of its points are simply not observed. Take at least the order of the sanitary and epidemiological service to participate in all joint activities to comply with these Rules - as you remember, the "hunter" was completely alone.
Or, for example, recommendations to housing offices “to equip a board at each entrance of a residential building to familiarize citizens with the materials: rules for keeping dogs and cats in the city of Obninsk, places for walking dogs, addresses and phone numbers of housing departments, trapping services, veterinary and sanitary and epidemiological services”. Have you seen something similar at your entrance?

And returning to the methods of catching. The regulatory documents clearly state that a homeless animal should be immobilized and delivered to the city veterinary station. Why, then, the Obninsk services arbitrarily decide to destroy the unfortunate animal in the most painful way, without giving it even a chance to find the owner?
Why are such organizations as the "New Ark" and private clinics, which often perform gratuitous operations on the lost, fight for every life, while others consider themselves entitled to destroy it without "trial and investigation"?
Surprisingly, the utilities are confident that all their actions are humane, they say, there were times when they were strangled with strangles or killed with an electric plug. They are also sure that the murder by "Adeline" does not fall under article 245 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Cruelty to animals" and has nothing to do with the violation of article 137 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation "Animals", which states that " cruel treatment with animals, contrary to the principles of humanity. Instructions for use of the drug Adilin-super for bloodless killing of animals

I. General information
Trade name Adilin-super (Adilinum-super).
International non-proprietary name: bisdimethylsulphate bisdimethylaminoethyl ester of succinic acid.
Dosage form: powder for solution for injection, containing at least 95% active substance - bisdimethylsulphate bisdimethylaminoethyl ester of succinic acid.
By appearance Adilin-super is a white or light cream powder, readily soluble in water.
Adilin-super is produced in 2 packs; 50; 100, 500 and 1000 g in glass and polymer bottles of appropriate capacity, sealed with screw caps with rubber or polyethylene seals with additional waxing. Each package is supplied with instructions for use.
Store Adilin-super in the manufacturer's sealed packaging, in a dry, dark place, out of the reach of unauthorized persons, separately from food and feed, at a temperature of 5 ° C to 25 ° C.
The shelf life of Adilina-super, subject to storage conditions, is 1 year from the date of production. It is forbidden to use Adilin-super after the expiration date. Ready-to-use solutions of Adilin-super are stored for 1 day.

II. Pharmacological properties
The bisdimethylaminoethyl ether of succinic acid, which is part of Adilin-super bisdimethyl sulfate, is a depolarizing muscle relaxant by the mechanism of action on the animal organism.

III. Application procedure
Adilin-super is intended for the forced bloodless killing of animals in order to prevent the spread of infections and eliminate foci of infections, including those with special dangerous diseasessuch as rabies, anthrax, African swine fever, avian influenza and others, when it is necessary to limit the flow of blood and other body fluids into the environment.
There are no contraindications for the use of Adilin-super.
Working solutions of the drug are prepared by dissolving the powder in vials with distilled water. In glass vials containing 2 g of the drug, add 2 ml of solvent, in glass or polymer vials containing 50, 100 and 500 g of the drug, add
respectively, 50, 100 and 500 ml of solvent. The vials are shaken until Adilina-super is completely dissolved.
When working at ambient temperatures below 0 ° C, 20% aqueous solutions are used as a solvent for the preparation ethyl alcohol or glycerin.
A solution of the drug is administered to animals once, intramuscularly.

IV. Personal prevention measures
When working with Adilin-super, you should follow the rules of personal hygiene and safety measures provided for when working with medications. All persons participating in the bloodless killing of animals must be dressed in overalls (rubber boots, a dressing gown, trousers, a hat, rubber gloves) and provided with personal protective equipment - closed-type goggles. Eating, drinking and smoking is prohibited during work. At the end of the work, face and hands should be washed with warm water and soap.
