Splat children's toothpaste from 0. Splat children's toothpaste - Junior and Juicy series

When purchasing toothpaste for children, it is necessary to take into account that it does not contain harmful substances, has a cariostatic and strengthening effect on enamel, and also has an attractive taste. Most companies make pastes for children of any age category... Now you can find a huge assortment of this product, but sometimes it is very difficult to make the right choice.

Toothpastes for children should take into account the structural features of children's teeth

Characteristics of the composition of children's toothpaste

Particular attention should be paid to the composition of the toothpaste. It should not contain such substances:

  1. Antiseptics (triclosan, metronidazole and chlorhexidine). Together with harmful bacteria, they destroy the natural microflora in the mouth. The use of pastes, where this substance is present, leads to a decrease in the protective function of the oral cavity. If you do not find an ingredient in the product, look for the word "TOTAL", which indicates the presence of some kind of antiseptic. It is better to refuse to buy such a paste.
  2. Foaming agents (sodium lauryl sulfate SLS, E487). They are detergents that are obtained from coconut oil using chemical synthesis. These substances pose a serious hazard and are found in almost all cosmetic products. Most firms pass them off as a natural component, indicating instead of the real name - "derived from coconuts."
  3. Preservatives, among which there are sodium benzonate, parabens, benzyl alcohol, as well as a substance that makes the paste viscous - propylene glycol (PEG-32, PEG-40. All of them are the strongest carcinogens.
  4. Sugar (sorbitol, glucose, sucrose), as it contributes to the creation of favorable conditions for the growth of bacteria in the mouth.

Lauryl sulfate is an aggressive foaming agent that is dangerous for the child's body

Substances that do not pose a threat to the health of the baby:

  1. water;
  2. glycerol;
  3. xanthan gum;
  4. sorbitol;
  5. titanium dioxide.

These components affect the thickness and appearance of the paste. For example, xanthan gum acts as food additive to thicken and gel. Thanks to the addition of water, glycerin or sorbitol, the paste does not dry out in an open tube. Titanium dioxide imparts a rich white hue.

Main active ingredients

The main active ingredients contained in children's toothpaste include:

  • Dicalcium Phosphate Dihydrate (dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, DDKF). Gently acts on the enamel of the teeth, without breaking it, gently removes plaque on the teeth. When this substance comes into contact with saliva, calcium and phosphorus ions are produced, which make it possible to restore the hard enamel tissue.
  • Xylitol (xylitol). Helps to eliminate caries, or to prevent its occurrence. Thanks to xylitol, minerals are absorbed faster by the enamel of the teeth and harmful bacteria in the mouth are destroyed. Studies have shown that a 10% concentration of xylitol is most effective. As an exception, the xylitol concentration reaches 12%.

Xylitol is responsible for the prevention of tooth decay
  • Calcium Glycerophosphate (calcium glycerophosphate), Calcium Citrate (calcium citrate), Magnesium chloride (magnesium chloride). These substances help to saturate the enamel surface, strengthen its structure, and also have an anti-carious effect.
  • Hydrated Silica. Acts gently, removes plaque without disturbing the enamel of the teeth.
  • Zinc citrate. It has an antibacterial effect, eliminates bad breath.
  • Sodium monofluorophosphate. It helps to strengthen the hard tissues of the oral cavity, thereby increasing the protective function of the teeth from the action of dangerous acids.
  • Calcium carbonate. It cleans well the oral cavity from soft deposits on the teeth, has a strengthening effect. Unlike dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, calcium carbonate has the strongest effect, as a result of which pastes with its content are recommended for use in children over 3 years old.
  • Aminofluoride is a form of fluorine of organic origin. It takes 20 seconds to create a reliable protective barrier on the tooth surface. This is of great importance, because as most children do not like to brush their teeth for 3 minutes, as expected.

Often the question arises before parents: should the child toothpaste to be with fluorine? Fluoride is very dangerous if swallowed, so children under two to three years old should not buy such pastes. Older children are allowed to use pastes where fluoride is present in a small volume and in organic form in the form of olafluor or aminofluoride.

Because children often taste toothpaste, fluoride is discouraged.

It is advisable to abandon pastes containing abrasives, since there is a risk that overly hard particles will adversely affect the child's vulnerable enamel. Children's toothpaste should not contain fluoride or any abrasives.

Rating of toothpastes for children

  • 1st place is occupied by pasta produced by Lakalut;
  • 2nd place goes to President;
  • 3rd place goes to Splat products;
  • the 4th place is occupied by the Rocks company;
  • 5th place - Silca;
  • The 6th place is taken by the products of the Weleda company;
  • 7th place goes to Elmex.

The best advice for parents is to show the baby to the dentist and get advice on the selection of a paste. The specialist will advise it taking into account the individual characteristics of the child's oral cavity.

The ideal toothpaste is the one recommended by the dentist

Lakalut pastes are produced in Germany. Their advantage lies in their reasonable price and high quality. The composition contains aminofluoride, fluoride and vitamins A and E. Aminofluoride helps to strengthen the enamel of the teeth, and also forms a protection on the tooth surface in the form of a film, under which fluorine continues to be absorbed. long time after application. The enamel is mineralized, which makes it possible to cure caries at the stage of the white spot.

Fluorine is present in a small amount, not exceeding the norm. The paste does not contain sodium lauryl sulfate, so it is not at all capable of harming children's health. Products for different age categories are endowed with a variety of flavors:

  • 0-4 years old "LACALUT baby" with raspberry flavor. Suitable for milk teeth.
  • 4-8 years old "LACALUT kids 4+" with citrus flavor. It is characterized by the presence of fluoride in the composition of aminofluoride, which is necessary to prevent the formation of caries.
  • 8-12 years old "LACALUT teens 8+" with a citrus-mint flavor. Has a gel-like structure with multi-colored microcapsules. The paste is characterized by the presence of sodium aminofluoride and sodium fluoride in the permitted therapeutic dose. The paste can be used as a prophylaxis against caries, as well as in its treatment at the initial stage of a white spot. The product is approved by the German Dental Society.

President's products are made in Italy. Fluoride-free toothpaste, thanks to which you can clean babies' teeth from birth to three years old without fear of accidental swallowing. Xylitol promotes the breakdown of food acids in the oral cavity and has a karyostatic effect. Products for children from six years of age have a less pronounced effect. Gel paste from 6 to 12 years old is made just for children prone to caries and is characterized by a large volume of fluoride in the form of fluoride and monofluorophosphate.

There are the following pastes of the President company:

  • "PRESIDENT Baby 0-3" with raspberry flavor. It is characterized by low abrasiveness.
  • "PRESIDENT Kids" 3-6 years old with a cola flavor.
  • "PresiDENTJunior 6+" 6-12 years old with lime scent.
  • From 12 years old "PRESIDENT Teens 12+" with a mint flavor. It is characterized by a good composition, the abrasiveness is slightly less than the average. You can take care of the permanent teeth of adolescent children.

Splat

Country of origin - Russia. Splat pastes can be selected for children of different age categories. They contain hydroxyapatite, a combination of components (lysozyme, lactoferrin, glucose oxidase, lactoperoxidase) and various additional substances. All Splat pastes are produced without fluoride, sodium lauryl sulfate and parabens. The only exceptions are products made for children from 3 to 8 years old.

There are several Splat toothpastes:

  • "SPLAT Juicy Set". Effectively saturates tooth enamel calcium. SPLAT Juicy children's toothpaste can be used by both children and adults, since the composition does not contain harmful components.
  • "SPLAT Junior 0-4". Made for kids up to the age of four. The paste comes in the form of a foam, there is no threat if swallowed. It contains a combination of substances that enhance the protective function of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity, so that stomatitis can be prevented.
  • "SPLAT Junior 3-8". It is characterized by a varied composition. There is fluorine in the form of aminofluoride, calcium, a combination of substances that enhance the protective functions of the oral mucosa. However, the simultaneous content of fluoride and calcium leads to the fact that when their ions combine, an insoluble salt is formed, which does not bring any benefit to the teeth.

SPLAT Juicy children's toothpaste deserves special attention. It is presented with the children's favorite flavors: fruit, chocolate, ice cream. In addition, this toothpaste has a very bright and attractive packaging that little ones love. The paste will perfectly restore and strengthen the hard structure of the teeth, help prevent the occurrence of caries and plaque. Suitable for any child age.

ROCS

The firm is fairly widespread. The composition of Rox pastes contains calcium glycerophosphate, xylitol, alginate, herbal extracts, as well as lime and chamomile extracts. The product is characterized by low abrasiveness and has a good healing effect... Due to the fact that there are no preservatives in the composition, it is allowed to use an opened tube for 30 days, then it is recommended to get rid of the remaining contents and purchase a new paste. An unopened tube of paste can be stored for up to 2 years.

In addition to the product, the package contains a small coloring book and a game with a calendar so that the baby knows when to brush his teeth. The only drawback of this company is the high price.

Several Rocks toothpastes are known:

  • "ROCS - PRO Baby". Not hazardous if swallowed. Made for kids up to three years old.
  • ROCS Baby - fragrant chamomile for children up to three years old. The disadvantage is the lack of components aimed at strengthening the enamel of the teeth, for example, calcium. In addition, it does not contain fluoride, so it does not have an anti-carious effect. It is advisable to apply it at the moment when teeth are being cut, since the components contained in it are aimed at protecting not the teeth, but the gums.
  • "ROCS kids - berry fantasy" for kids from 4 to 7 years old with raspberry and strawberry flavor.
  • "ROCS kids - barberry" for children from 3 to 7 years old. This children's toothpaste is fluoride-free and may therefore be used in places where drinking water with an excess of fluorine. The composition does not contain dyes, sodium lauryl sulfate, so you can not be afraid if a child accidentally swallows the paste. It is recommended to use such a paste without fluorine and calcium in turn with other products that contain calcium glycerophosphate or aminofluoride.
  • 2-12 years old "SILCA Putzi - orange". Has low abrasiveness, you can clean both dairy and permanent teeth (we recommend to read :). The composition contains fluorine in the form of sodium fluoride. You should know that fluoride-containing pastes are undesirable for a child under five years of age if he is not prone to caries. It is better to opt for a product with calcium.

Weleda Calendula Gel is suitable for babies up to three years old. To his active substances relate essential oils and alginate, which have anti-inflammatory effects. The remedy is most effective when a child is teething. Thanks to the abrasive and polishing components, milk teeth are cleaned of microbes. The gel is completely safe, so don't worry if a child accidentally swallows it. Since this product does not contain fluorine and calcium, it is necessary to choose another paste where calcium glycerophosphate or aminofluoride is present and alternate their use.

Elmex

Colgate is engaged in the manufacture of such funds. The country of origin is China. The content of aminofluoride is within the therapeutic dosage, and there are no dyes or preservatives. It is inexpensive, but dangerous if swallowed, as it contains excess fluoride.

There are the following Colgate children's toothpastes:

  • "Elmeks for children" is used for cleaning milk teeth. Due to aminofluoride, it is well suited as a prophylaxis.
  • Elmex Junior. Aminofluoride is in a therapeutic dose, so its action is aimed at protecting teeth from caries, as well as treating the initial stage of the white spot.

It is important to choose the most best remedy for your crumbs. Follow all the recommendations, pay attention that the paste does not contain harmful substances and fluoride in inorganic form. Do your best to keep your child's teeth healthy and strong. It's always nice to look at a photo with a beautiful smile, especially if your blood is captured on it!

I wrote that the youngest (2 years old) cleans his teeth himself, though without toothpaste. And one young mother wrote in the comments that they brush their teeth with paste, but not a toothbrush, and special fingertip.

And what do you think, I urgently need this fingertip and super safe toothpaste for the youngest. The search was short-lived, I found both a paste and a finger brush on the website of a well-known company splat. I think everyone has heard about their toothpastes for adults - and here's a series for kids.

Place of purchase: online store splat.

Full title: Splat bioactive toothpaste for children 0-3 years old vanilla

Price: 157 r

We open the box, and there! Surprise - complete with splat children's toothpaste comes with a fingertip brush. All this is in the box, each in its place. Nothing dangles or falls out. I think such a set can even be given as a gift, for the first tooth of the baby, be sure, parents will appreciate such care on your part

I'll tell you first about toothpaste. Because we buy it, but the brush goes as a present))

The tube of toothpaste is made of soft plastic, does not slip out even when a child holds it with wet hands. The lid opens rather tight, a two-year-old cannot cope with it. I have to help him, and this annoys him terribly, he wants to be independent in everything

What this baby toothpaste should do:

EFFECTIVE CARIES PROTECTION AND TEETH ASSISTANCE

A unique soft cleaning base close to the composition of tooth enamel (dicalcium phosphate dihydrate) destroys soft dental plaque and allows you to clean children's enamel without damage, and the licorice extract, as part of the LUCTATOL® complex, prevents its re-formation by 96%.

Also, on the official website it is written that this toothpaste is suitable for children from 0-3 years old. Safe if swallowed- and this is very important when choosing a children's toothpaste. Moreover, if she is the first.

Still very interesting fact was thatthat it is written on the toothpaste that it reduces the sensitivity of children's teeth during teething. We were not able to check this part, since the baby has already grown up and new teeth come out painlessly.

It is also written that the toothpaste is 99.3% natural, of course I want to believe in it.

On the other side are all sorts of beneficial ingredients that are included in the composition.

Active ingredients:

  • LUCTATOL® innovative anti-caries system - The combination of Japanese licorice tree extract and lactic enzymes breaks down the shells of cariogenic bacteria, keeps breath fresh and slows down the formation of plaque. Reduces the risk of tooth decay and prevents plaque by 96%
  • Calcium hydroxyapatite (nHap), similar in composition to tooth enamel, provides intensive strengthening of children's tooth enamel.
  • L-Arginine reduces the sensitivity of the gums during teething and has an anti-inflammatory effect due to L-Arginine and herbal extracts of chamomile, calendula, yarrow, cranberry and prickly pear and aloe vera gel.

Cream colored toothpaste almost does not smell... It looks like this on the brush.

♡♡♡ Now, as for the present fingertip brush.♡♡♡

The package says that Before using the finger brush for the first time, you must first boil it! This is very important, do not miss this moment.

The brush is transparent, very soft. On one side there are silicone bristles, and on the other there are simply raised points. I understand that one side is for brushing teeth and massaging children's gums, and the other side is for cleaning the tongue.

I liked the quality of the silicone - it did not turn yellow in a month of use.

On my index finger, the fingertip brush does not hold very tightly, sometimes it slips off.

♡♡♡ How do we brush children's teeth♡♡♡

The experience of using the brush suggests that my baby has already grown up from this age, when it would be possible to massage his gums or brush his teeth. My stubborn independent kid, refused to have me brush his teeth. Therefore, he himself takes a silicone fingertip and cleans his teeth, still without paste. He really likes to "scratch" his teeth with them.

I think such a silicone fingertip brush is suitable for younger babies - when they happily open their mouths so that their mother can massage their teeth during teething. And also for kids who like to gnaw something, for example, a parent's finger)) But it is not recommended to leave such a fingertip and a child unattended, situations are different and parents are better off controlling everything.

And sometimes, kid cleans teeth with toothpaste... Even if not with this brush, but on the other hand! Now I take the most ordinary children's toothbrush from the same splat, squeeze out the toothpaste there and my baby synchronously brushes his teeth with his older brother to a drum roll. When the drums start to beat harder and faster, the baby should spit out the paste. And it seems we will start it well.

I think if it were not for this toothpaste, which is considered safe to swallow, my two-year-old child would have hoped that someday his mother would allow him to brush his teeth like an adult, with toothpaste!

P.S. Have you ever brushed your teeth with children's toothpaste ??? I, yes, always taste their paste myself. This paste tastes sweet, foams a little. It tastes like a sweet tablet with a slight bitter aftertaste. And it seems precisely because of this aftertaste that the teeth seem clean. Cleans even adult teeth.

Here I am such an experimental mother

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

We draw a conclusion :

  • the toothpaste is safe to swallow
  • the price is adequate
  • you can buy without leaving home
  • almost does not smell
  • foams medium
  • there is a silicone finger brush included
  • there is a hope that the toothpaste will really protect the baby's teeth from caries

I hope my review will be useful to you and you will make the right choice.

FAQ

First of all, one that does not injure the gums during use. At the same time, the quality of oral hygiene depends more on whether the teeth are brushed correctly than on the shape or variety of the toothbrush. As for electric brushes, they are the preferred option for uninformed people; although you can brush your teeth with a simple (manual) brush. In addition, a toothbrush alone is often not enough - floss (special dental floss) must be used to clean between teeth.

Rinse aid are optional hygiene productsthat effectively cleanse the entire oral cavity of harmful bacteria. All these funds can be roughly divided into two large groups - therapeutic and prophylactic and hygienic.

The latter include rinses that eliminate bad smell and promote fresh breath.

With regard to therapeutic and prophylactic, these include rinses that have an anti-plaque / anti-inflammatory / anti-carious effect and help reduce the sensitivity of hard dental tissues. This is achieved due to the presence in the composition of various kinds of biologically active components. Therefore, the rinse aid must be selected for each specific person on an individual basis, as well as the toothpaste. And since the product is not washed off with water, it only strengthens the effect of the active components of the paste.

Such cleaning is completely safe for dental tissues and less traumatic. soft tissue oral cavity. The point is that in dental clinics a special level of ultrasonic vibrations is selected, which affects the density of the stone, violates its structure and separates it from the enamel. In addition, in places where tissues are processed with an ultrasound scaler (this is the name of a device for cleaning teeth), a special cavitation effect occurs (after all, oxygen molecules are released from the water droplets, which enter the treatment zone and cool the tool tip). The cell membranes of pathogenic microorganisms are ruptured by these molecules, due to which the microbes die.

It turns out that cleaning with ultrasound has a complex effect (provided that really high-quality equipment is used) both on the stone and on the microflora as a whole, cleaning it. And this cannot be said about mechanical cleaning. Furthermore, ultrasonic cleaning more pleasant for the patient and takes less time.

According to dentists, dental treatment should be carried out regardless of your position. Moreover, a pregnant woman is advised to visit the dentist every one to two months, because, as you know, when carrying a baby, teeth are significantly weakened, suffer from a deficiency of phosphorus and calcium, and therefore the risk of caries or even tooth loss increases significantly. For the treatment of pregnant women, it is necessary to use harmless anesthesia. The most suitable course of treatment should be selected exclusively by a qualified dentist, who will also prescribe the required preparations that strengthen the tooth enamel.

It is quite difficult to treat wisdom teeth due to their anatomical structure... However, trained professionals treat them successfully. Prosthetics of wisdom teeth is recommended when one (or several) adjacent teeth are missing or need to be removed (if you also remove a wisdom tooth, then there is simply nothing to chew with). In addition, the removal of a wisdom tooth is undesirable if it is in the right place in the jaw, has its own antagonist tooth, and takes part in the chewing process. You should also take into account the fact that poor-quality treatment can lead to the most serious complications.

Here, of course, much depends on the taste of the person. So, there are completely invisible systems attached to the inside of the teeth (known as lingual), and there are transparent ones. But the most popular are still metal braces with colored metal / elastic ligatures. It's really trendy!

To begin with, it's just unattractive. If this is not enough for you, we will give the following argument - calculus and plaque on the teeth often provoke bad breath. Isn't that enough for you? In this case, we move on: if the tartar "grows", it will inevitably lead to irritation and inflammation of the gums, that is, it will create favorable conditions for periodontitis (a disease in which periodontal pockets are formed, pus constantly flows out of them, and the teeth themselves become mobile). And this is already a direct path to the loss of healthy teeth. Moreover, the number of harmful bacteria increases, due to which there is an increased tooth decay.

The lifespan of an established implant will be tens of years. According to statistics, at least 90 percent of implants are functioning perfectly 10 years after insertion, while the service life averages 40 years. Typically, this period will depend both on the design of the product and on how carefully the patient takes care of it. That is why it is imperative to use an irrigator during cleaning. In addition, you must visit the dentist at least once a year. All these measures will significantly reduce the risk of losing the implant.

Removal of a tooth cyst can be performed either therapeutic or surgical method... In the second case, we are talking about the extraction of a tooth with further cleaning of the gums. In addition, there are those modern methodsthat allow you to save the tooth. This is, first of all, cystectomy - a rather complicated operation, which consists in removing the cyst and the affected root apex. Another method is hemisection, in which the root and the tooth fragment above it are removed, after which it (part) is restored with a crown.

As for the therapeutic treatment, it consists in cleaning the cyst through the root canal. This is also a difficult option, especially not always effective. Which method should you choose? This will be decided by the doctor together with the patient.

In the first case, professional systems are used to change the color of teeth, based on carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide. Obviously, it is better to give preference to professional whitening.

Greetings to all visiting!

Oral hygiene is necessary not only for adults, but also for the smallest, no less important family members. With the advent of the first tooth, I, like many mothers, was in search of a high-quality cleanser (albeit small, but growing!).

It is important for me that the baby paste is safe when swallowed, has a harmless composition, tastes good for the baby and gently cleanses and takes care of children's teeth.

Splat has new items - Children's dental baby Pastes (from 0 to 3 years old) ... I'll tell you about the tasteful pasta " Apple-banana ".

You can buy it in pharmacies and city shops, or order it on the official website. The cost is 156 rubles.

The paste is produced in a cardboard box with a bright children's design.

The kit includes a silicone fingertip brush that will faithful assistant in cleaning the very first teeth. It gently cleanses, does not injure and massages the gums.

We used a similar brush about a year ago, and now we have switched to soft children's brushes that are suitable for age.

She can easily replace the teether: if the mother puts it on her finger, she can scratch the itchy gums, massage, thereby facilitating the teething process. Now my child is not bad and copes with this adaptation herself (yes, we still have 20 ...).

Let's move on to the tuba.

There is a protective foil.

The lid is made as a flip-top. This format of toothpaste is the most convenient for me - I don't like to unscrew the caps.

Description of active ingredients.

Since the process of spitting out toothpaste in children has not yet been worked out (someone else does not know how, someone is learning), it is important to pay attention to the manufacturer's instructions on safety when swallowing.

A small pea of \u200b\u200bpasta is required for the child. Its color is white, has a pleasant, fruity aroma, weak. The taste is delicate, a banana is well felt, a little apple. But some "zest" is added by licorice extract.

For me personally, JUICY "Ice Cream" turned out to be more tasty, but the child, as it seemed, did not care at all (we are 1.11).

The paste gently helps to cleanse children's teeth from plaque, it cannot cope with adults, it does not refresh the breath (no wonder). Did not call allergic reaction and some other undesirable phenomena.

Foaming is weak.

SPLAT Baby toothpaste (from 0-3 years old) can become a pleasant, and most importantly, a useful addition to a gift for a baby and his young parents. And next time we will take something else, especially since the manufacturer has an excellent selection of products for caring for the child's oral cavity. And the most important thing is safety and variety of flavors!

Thank you for your attention to the review.

Somehow unexpectedly quickly the child ran out of pasta. Previously, brushing his teeth took place under my strict guidance: I myself squeezed the paste onto the brush, he cleaned, and then I took his brush and cleaned his teeth a little more. But when he began to brush his teeth on his own, our consumption did not even double, but at least three times. Therefore, I was not ready for the pasta to run out so quickly. Still, my pea-sized portion of pasta clearly loses to the pasta track for almost the entire length of the brush. There was no pasta in stock, so I placed an order at IM, but while I was waiting for the parcel, I went shopping with the hope for the best

What caught my eye is that the shelves of stores and pharmacies are bursting with bright tubes of pastes with cartoon characters: Winx, Smeshariki, Spiderman ... there are, of course, pastes in calm packages, but they have compositions. I would buy a children's Rox with linden extract, which has a shelf life of only one month, but I did not find it, I was already ready for Siberik Biberik (I don’t like Nature Siberica for the perfumes used), of the two evils, as they say, they choose the lesser, but this I did not find pasta on the shelves. One box attracted me at the pharmacy. Bioactive toothpaste from Splat. I don't really trust the pastes of this company, I know that the adult paste contains critical ingredients, but after a cursory reading of the composition, nothing alerted me, except for cocamidopropyl betaine, I know that the service estimates it at three 🍏🍏🍏, but the inscription 99.3% Natural convinced that the paste can be trusted and the three apple cocamidopropyl betaine was thought to be the worst ingredient.

Look at the box. Everything is very sweet and tender. Wonderful kids, a heart in which the manufacturer's logo flaunts, colorful letters and an inscription, no INSCRIPTION 99.3% natural.

The reverse side of the box is in English.

Effective protection against caries and help with teething. This is wonderful, but! Protection against caries is good for an older child, and help for a younger child with teething. What kind of help? How and how can the paste help with teething? Ease the pain? Will your teeth come out faster? Calgel relieves pain for 20 minutes, but what can a paste? In my opinion, nothing.

Bioactive toothpaste is intended for the first milk teeth and is suitable for children up to three years old.

On the other side of the box, we read that the paste contains extracts of chamomile, calendula, prickly pear and aloe vera gel. How about an innovative patented system.

There is a paste inside the box. The tube is made of soft plastic. The volume of the paste is small, only 40 ml. On the tube we read that the paste is 99.3% natural, hypoallergenic and safe to swallow.

This is not just a paste, this is a set. There was also a silicone fingertip inside the box. Paste and a fingertip lay on a white plastic backing, but she did not "live" before the photo session

On the reverse side, we see some information from the box.

The silicone fingertip is designed for cleaning the first teeth.

The paste is very thick and dense. You need to make a little effort to squeeze it out of the tube.

The color of the paste is milky white with a grayish tint.

It's time to look at the composition: hydrogenated starch hydrolysate, aqua, dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, hydrated silica, glycerin, xanthan gum, potassium thiocyanate, lactoferrin, lactoperoxidase, glucose oxidase, glucose pentaacetate, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, opaque flowerdensis extract, opauntia ficicus extract japonica flower extract, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, cocamidopropyl betain, o-cymen-5-ol, glycyrrhiza glabra root extract, vaccinium oxycoccos fruit extract, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, chamomilla recutita extract, calendula officinalis extract, arginine.

I definitely use the line-up check service

What can I say

And I was hoping that only cocamidopropyl betaine would have the lowest score.

Who would not say what, but in the products that my children use, I am opposed to ingredients even in three points. Especially when it is a toothpaste, especially if it is intended for the smallest. After all, babies can easily swallow it.

Let's see what potassium thiocyanate is fraught with.

Cocamidopropyl Betaine

And an ingredient that got two points

The unidentified ingredient glucose pentaacetate is an emulsion stabilizer.

So the manufacturer says that the paste is safe to swallow. I do not want my children to use such dubious products that can cause irritation and allergic reactions.

First application

I used the paste with the child. Horror, how disgusting it smells. This is not a strawberry Logona with an amazing smell and taste, which is easily squeezed by a child's pen onto a toothbrush. The paste is dense, it comes out tightly from the tube. The smell of course is nasty, but maybe it will taste better, oh, no, not better, the pasta made me want to. She doesn't like brushing her teeth. The paste foams quite strongly - a little less than the usual adult paste (of course natural), but the foam quickly falls off and it is not dense, airy.

For comparison, adult paste (yellow) and baby Vanilla. I tried to use the same amount of paste.

There is less foaming in the nursery, but I still consider it strong. I'm not a fan of foam pastes, maybe someone likes the abundance of foam in the mouth, but I don't, I'm out of the habit, because natural pastes do not have such abundant foaming. Although if you take the paste from Natura Siberika Frosty Berries, then there is such a foaming that I had to brush my teeth with a paste smaller than a pea, but brushing my teeth did not bring pleasure, because the taste of the paste is soapy-unnatural-berry.

The pasta disappointed in both its composition and taste, but what to do, the children had to brush their teeth with it for about a week. True, brushing your teeth was not twice as it should be, but they brushed your teeth only before going to bed to minimize contact with the paste. She explained that the composition was bad and that the paste needed to be squeezed very little onto the brush. An older niece, she is still fastidious, so she brushed her teeth a couple of times with this paste, then refused to brush her teeth. She brushed her teeth with an adult toothpaste, and for the first teeth of her baby, I did not even dare to brush her teeth in my thoughts. As it turned out, the taste, smell and foaming are not all disadvantages - the tube turned out to have a very tight cap. Holding the tube in my hand and trying to flip the cap with my thumb, I did it with little effort. It opens a little and that's it. I, as an adult, managed to open the paste with one finger, but making efforts. Conducted an experiment: I gave a tube of pasta to my niece to open the lid of the pasta. On the fourth attempt, the cap gave in. I closed it and let it open again, now my teeth are in play, she says when it doesn't open, you can open it anyway. Opening something with your teeth is not good. My child tried to open the paste with his hands, but could not. He walked over to the washing machine, lifted the lid to a flat surface and pulled the tube down. Here I was surprised, but the goal was achieved, the paste is open.

It looks like this - the lid opens slightly and unfortunately it does not open with a slight upward movement of the finger.

Accordingly, if the lid opens tightly, then it closes tightly. It is necessary to press firmly so that the lid closes until it clicks.

Neither I nor the children liked the pasta

Bad taste

Bad smell

Strong foaming

Tight lid

Critical Ingredient

Of the positive aspects with the purchase of this set, I can only single out a silicone fingertip - this is a good and necessary thing for the first children's teeth.

Do not buy this pasta for your children, because there are very good children's pasta, with natural compositions and pleasant tastes, even if they are more expensive, but for our children we choose the best!
